Eggs Up Grill, Multiple Locations

Wake up with Eggs Up Grill, which has a bounty of locations throughout the Myrtle Beach area. This popular neighborhood breakfast spot is known for its Southern hospitality, serving up fresh-brewed coffee and hearty dishes with a smile. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Choose from an abundance of omelet combinations, breakfast egg entrée classics, or pancakes or waffles hot off the griddle. And, if you’re not an early bird and prefer lunch, Eggs Up offers sandwiches, burgers, and biscuits.

Johnny D’s Waffles and Bakery, Multiple Locations

Another breakfast spot with a family of locations is Johnny D’s, hosting patrons in Surfside Beach, Myrtle Beach, and North Myrtle Beach. If you have a sweet tooth, this is your sweet spot. Order a banana split waffle or a red velvet cake waffle to satisfy your craving. The menu also features a wide variety of creative concoctions, including breakfast skillets, like the Irish Skillet, which features a hearty combination of eggs, cheese, potatoes, hash and bacon – all topped with loads of cheese! Breakfast cocktails are also available.

Dino’s House of Pancakes, 210 Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach

The extensive breakfast menu in this North Myrtle Beach restaurant may seem overwhelming, but you won’t be disappointed with anything you choose. Try any of the eggs and sides, old-fashioned buttermilk pancakes, waffles, French toast, omelets, egg skillets, and egg sandwiches.

Benjamin’s Bakery, Café & Coffee Roasters, 810 3rd Ave. South, Surfside Beach

You’ll get a whiff of the deliciousness they’re cooking up for breakfast at this quaint corner café in Surfside Beach as soon as you walk in the door. Choose from any of their breakfast bagel sandwiches, like the Surfside Beach sandwich, egg, turkey, provolone cheese, avocado, tomato, spinach, and bacon on a baguette with basil pesto mayo. Or take a bag of fresh-baked bagels, breads, pastries, and sweets, or sit in the café (indoors or out) with one with a cup of Benjamin’s roasted in-house coffee.

Blueberry’s Grill, 7931 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, and Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach

As the name implies, fresh blueberries are stirred into a smattering of breakfast dishes on the Blueberry’s Grill menu, such as blueberry pancakes, a blueberry ricotta Belgian waffle, blueberry hushpuppies, and a blueberry muffin and eggs. But there is so much more, like the Melting Pot omelet (cold smoked salmon, American and Boudreaux Brie cheeses, caramelized onions, capers and avocado crema), the Stone Barn Pork Belly Benedict, assorted egg skillets, and sandwiches. Specialty cocktails are also available; breakfast is served until 3 p.m.

Croissants Bistro & Bakery, 8014 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach

Served until 3:30 p.m., breakfast and brunch are the specialties at this north end bistro. Musts are their Quiche du Jour with a freshly baked croissant, the shrimp and grits, and the Southern Benedict topped with fried green tomatoes. Add on a refreshing smoothie and share a Sunrise Pizza, a croissant flatbread topped with mornay sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon bits, diced tomato, and mozzarella.

Crepe Creation Café, 4012 Deville Street, Myrtle Beach

The family-owned Crepe Creation Café, located within The Market Common, is a charming dining option for breakfast or brunch alfresco or indoors. As you can guess, the fresh, made-to-order breakfast crepes are the main attraction, but there are also more must-try breakfast creations on the menu are their croissant sandwiches, platters, Benedict dishes, omelets, French Toast Croissants, and bowls.

Drift – A Coastal Eatery, 980 Cipriana Drive, Myrtle Beach

This cool café in the Grande Dunes Marketplace offers a combo of classics and breakfast/brunch dishes with a twist served on the patio or their swanky dining room indoors. Aside from their impressive selections of Egg Benedicts, omelets, scramblers, sandwiches, and class breakfast entrees, Drift offers healthy options, like the Quinoa Poke Bowl and Protein Power Bowls blended with five-grain quinoa, a wild mushroom blend, avocado, fresh burrata ball, garlic aioli sauce and your choice of protein, from grilled chicken to duck confit and more.

10/Fold Biscuits, 4377 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach

This biscuit hub is closed until May 2024 for renovations and expansion plans, but you’ll want to seat yourself here when they reopen to check out all of the changes and take a bite out of any of their endless offerings of scratch-made Southern biscuits, like the Carolina Que piled with slow- cooked pulled pork and coleslaw or the BEC with thick-cut bacon, free-range sunny side up egg, cheddar cheese, and chipotle ketchup.

Sea Captain’s House, 3002 N. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach

You’ll feel right at home at Sea Captain’s House, an oceanfront beach bungalow converted into a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner for more than 60 years. Dig into the ocean views at this locals’ favorite and breakfasts that are “fit for a Captain.” Choose to graze their Famous Breakfast Buffet or order any of their omelets, Benedicts, sandwiches, pancakes, and French toast.
